Retail Zones

There are over 450,000 people within a 45 mile radius of Massena, NY. Our location on the Canadian border puts us within 1 1/2 hours from Montreal or Ottawa.

The St. Lawrence Centre Mall is a 508,000 square foot Regional and International Shopping Centre, strategically located here on the US and Canadian border. The center features an international food pavilion, a full service restaurant, an ice arena and is anchored by JC Penny, Sears, Bon-Ton, and TJ Maxx. The arena is a multi-million dollar, state-of-the-art facility that houses a 200 x 85 ft. NHL-sized ice surface and seats 1,200 spectators for ice events and 1,600 for non-ice events. On adjacent parcels to the Mall, you'll find Hannaford Foods, Office Max, BJs Wholesale Club and additional retail and restaurant businesses.

Across US Route 37 is 187,00 sf shopping complex that consists of a Wal-Mart and an Aldis Food Market.

The Harte Haven Shopping Plaza is located along the US Route 37 corridor with a major grocery store anchoring the center which also serves as home to an 8-cinema movieplex and assorted retail stores. You'll find out parcels with restaurants, a bowling center and the Massena Arena complex.

The newest retail addition, The Home Depot Store, opened a 126,000 sf store in the Village of Massena along US Route 37. There is an additional shovel-ready 61 acres available for development with pre-approval for a 224,000 sf big box retailer.


Industrial Park
Massena Industrial Park

The Massena Industrial Park is a 55 acre fully-serviced subdivision zoned for light, medium and heavy industrial use. The park, owned by the Business Development Corporation for a Greater Massena, is located on the south side of the village and is bounded on the east side by South Main Street (NYS Route 420).

Park infrastructure includes 8- and 10-inch water mains, 8-inch sewer mains, and a full-loop road accessing all lots. Natural gas is supplied by the St. Lawrence Gas Company, and electricity is supplied by the Massena Electric Department, a municipal power system. A Conrail line runs adjacent to the north and west boundaries of the park.
